Watadageya (Historical)

Watadhageya is one of greatest creation of the great king Parakumba (Parakrama Bahu) watadageya itself silently and proudly talk about the social development of ancient srilanka. This is one of good example for the stone creations of srilankan even after 900 years it still show the powerfulness of our ancient engineers
The king Parakrama bahu ruled the srilanka from 1156 -1186 and after that major renovation has done by king nissanka malla (from 1186 to 1196)  for this Watadageya
