Karattaya - Bull cart - Visit Srilanka

Bull Cart (Karatta) was the Main Vehicle in ancient Srilanka. mainly it used to  travel People and goods. even today it self we can rarely see this Bull carts in Srilanka. 

There are several kinds of carts in srilanka they are Bakki Karatta, gon karatta and Tirikkala, mostly this Bull Carts are used to transport goods, Further in some occasions use two bulls for one cart that is called as Bara Baage (This means Loaded Cart)
